Pairing Halloween Candy and Wine … Seriously! Halloween Candy and Wine … Seriously!

OMG, this is awesome. I saw these wine and Halloween candy pairings on Badassery, the bad-ass blog of Wine Awesomeness, one of the coolest wine websites around. Wine Awesomeness sells monthly subscriptions to receive amazing wine from all over the world right to your doorstep for really good prices. In addition to the wine, Wine Awesomeness takes it a step further by including a “Book of Awesomeness” with recipes for.

Event of the Week: #TrunkOrTreat! of the Week: #TrunkOrTreat!

Who’s participating in a #TrunkorTreat this year instead of the traditional trick-or-treating through your neighborhood? Trunk Or Treats are super cool and tons of fun for the little ones. It seems that usually Trunk or Treats take place in daylight or dusk hours and are really great for small kids who have early bedtimes. Trunk or Treats also commonly found at church functions as “alternatives” to traditional trick-or-treating because they.

Here is one of my all-time favorite yellow and black wedding photos: See more from this event here: I’m sometimes surprised at how infrequent a bold, striking yellow and black party occurs. Recipe of the Week: #Halloween Pudding Cups! of the Week: #Halloween Pudding Cups!

This is probably the easiest Recipe of the Week that I’ve ever posted. I know I’ve said it before, but seriously, this is soooo easy it barely constitutes a “recipe.” Some would even call this more of an “edible craft” than a full blown recipe, but I don’t care. It’s so darn cute. So cute! And you know where you can get Ghost Peeps and candy pumpkins and Oreos? Right.

Event of the Week: Disney’s Frozen Party Theme with Candy Buffet! of the Week: Disney’s Frozen Party Theme with Candy Buffet!

Frozen has completely taken over these days.  And I’m not taking about the frozen tundra polar vortex type of “frozen” either. I’m talking about the awesome Disney movie about Anna and Kristoff who set off on a journey to find Anna’s sister, Elsa, who has trapped the kingdom in an endless winter. Although the whole “trapped in an endless winter” thing sounds pretty familiar, doesn’t it? I think its encouraging.

Event of the Week: Red, White and Gold Wedding Reception! of the Week: Red, White and Gold Wedding Reception!

We saw this amazing styled photo shoot on that we knew would be great for our Event of the Week series. This shoot is styled in gorgeous fall colors of red, white and gold (also a nice winter wedding color combo) and the location of this shoot is simply stunning. Look at that wall! I want to dress up in Kiera Knightly-style flowing, etherial white lace gowns and pretend.

Next go-around with this A-to-Z events list the X will be a little more difficult, but for  now we’re taking the easy road and writing about a party theme that is already incredibly popular – X-Men! I’m going to do this.
